Title: Woodland Collection: Jewelry Inspired by Nature
PART I: Fittingly, this collection reflects my intimate bond to nature that started in childhood. I grew up in the Midwest amongst the rugged landscape of woodlands, hills, and cold water streams. Over time, expressing nature and developing layered meanings associated with the natural world are themes, elements, and content I return to time and time again. The collection holds both realistic and abstract characteristics, or on occasion both which borders on the imaginary. I feel comfort and solace from this inspiration, while the textures, lines, and shapes create an organic vision for the subtleties one can witness on a walk in the woods.
